Reclaim + Renew

Tuesdays 6:30pm | Yoga Garden

1450 Van Buren St NE #314, Minneapolis

Reclaim + Renew is a trauma informed alignment based vinyasa class for yogis of all levels! It’s for anyone who has ever noticed a pattern or a behavior or some aspect of their life, and said to themselves, “hmm, I don’t think this is working for me anymore,” or ”I don’t actually like how this is impacting me and those around me, and I want to do something different.” It’s for everyone who’s ever thought quietly to themselves, “I want to live with more intention, compassion, or fierce love" for themselves, their people and their communities.

Yoga philosophy teaches us that we are always whole, that nothing is missing, that we are always perfectly imperfect. In a Reclaim + Renew class we use the subtle power of movement, breath, and community to orient ourselves towards this truth, over and over again.

No need to pre register! Come to the studio 10 minutes early and we'll get you signed in and ready to go!

“Working with Melissa has been nothing short of a gift, a divine intervention if you will. I first met Melissa in her capacity as a yoga for recovery instructor, where she guides practitioners home to themselves amidst the noise and chaos of daily life. I became closer with Melissa through our discussion of existential kink, and I felt able to share my deepest, darkest truths with her without fear of judgement or abandonment (hard for me). Melissa is a kind soul who is both willing and able to hold space for others. She listens, she hears, and she shares her perspective if requested. Lastly, Melissa is a radically inclusive individual and inspires me to stay curious, stay evolving, and stay kind. I highly recommend working with Melissa to anyone who feels the call for more love, community, acceptance, and FUN!”
